On March 9, 2026, our department organized a seminar titled “Interdisciplinary Teamwork in the Energy Sector.” Sefa Seçkiner, Team Manager at Enerjisa Bartın Grid Operations, served as the guest speaker at the seminar.

During the seminar, Sefa Seçkiner shared valuable insights with the participants by addressing the challenges and opportunities an engineer may encounter in the energy sector from both office and field perspectives. Topics such as how engineering practices are integrated with fieldwork, the importance of efficiency-oriented solutions, and the role of innovative technologies in the sector were discussed in detail.

The seminar, which was followed with great interest, especially by young engineering candidates, also emphasized tips for career planning in the energy sector and the importance of professional experience. Drawing on examples from his own career, Sefa Seçkiner shared his experiences with the students and answered their questions.

At the end of the seminar, our Faculty Dean presented a certificate of appreciation to Sefa Seçkiner in recognition of his contributions. The event was successfully completed, making a strong contribution to increasing participants’ awareness of the sector and providing them with an inspiring experience.
